Day 3: Saigon city tour halfday and  Cu chi Tunnel tour. (B)
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit Ben Thanh Market - a fantastic place for bargains of every kind! There are several interesting sights in Saigon. The War Remnants Museum has a wealth of images from the wars, the most moving being a gallery entitled 'Requiem' which is dedicated to Vietnamese and foreign journalists and photographers who perished during the French and American conflicts.
And then transfer to tour in Cu Chi Tunnel. We venture about 75Km northwest of Sai Gon to Cu Chi, an area that played an important role in the wars. This amazing tunnel system was used by Vietnamese guerillas operating against the US military forces and had initially started in 1945 during the French colonial time. Before driving back to the hotel , we explore the underground tunnels at different levels, see some of the shelters and sample the typical guerilla’s food

Day 4: Vietnam Golf & Country Club (Vietnam). Free at leisure (B).
Holes: 18

Vietnam Golf & Country Club Description:
(home of the Vietnam Masters)

Vietnam Golf & Country Club has two 18 hole championship length golf courses. Located just 20 kilometers from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf and Country Club is also the nearest golf club to the city.

Set amongst 300 hectares of land, two great golf courses have been carved out of the existing woodland with minimal land movement, leaving you feel that the land was always destined to be a golf course, so natural is the lay-out and design.

Open since November 1995, the 7,106-yard West Course at Vietnam Golf & Country Club features narrow tree-lined fairways and fast smooth greens. The Par 72 Championship Course hosted the Vietnam Open (Asian PGA Tour Event) in both 1995 and 1997. The course winds its way through the trees offering challenging tee shots to the tree lined fairways before playing to the softly contoured Bermuda Tifeagle greens, which provide beautiful putting surfaces all year round.

The West Course’s difficulty lies in its championship length. Only single-digit handicap players are permitted to play off the Gold Tees and even from the normal men's tees, this course can provide a very long afternoon to golfers of all abilities if their drives are not on target.

The second course at Vietnam Golf & Country Club is the 6,946-yard East Course. Lee Trevino, six-time Major Champion Winner (US Open 1968,1971, USPGA Championship 1974, 1984 and The Open Championship 1971 and 1972), designed the East Course which opened in September 1997. The East Course offers more generous fairways than the West Course but is protected by 110 well positioned bunkers, water hazards and undulating Bermuda Tifdwarf greens. The layout is so challenging even a seasoned tour pro will think twice before "going for it." The East Course’s undulating greens are the undoing of many an unsuspecting player. To score well on this course, a player must play smart and set up a good approach shot which will give him a relatively straight putt - which is something easier said than done on these greens. Many a side bet have been won or lost due to the putting skills of the players.

Whichever course you decide to play, you will leave Vietnam Golf & Country Club with many fond memories of the golf course.
